Mint Chutney

This dark green puree is made of fresh mint, green chilies, salt, sugar, and lime juice. Its tangy, hot, mint, flavor is delicious with Indian breads, meat dishes and lamb seekh kabobs.

Ingredients:

Serves 2-4

  • 2 bunches of mint leaves (about 3 cups chopped)
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • salt to taste

How to make it Mint Chutney:

  1. Wash and clean mint leaves.
  2. Pluck the leaves from its stem.
  3. Put the leaves in the mixer and half grind it.
  4. Add all the other remaining ingredients.
  5. Grind it till chutney turn smooth.
