Bhel Puri

Bhel Puri is a popular in India savory, sweet and spicy snack. It is made of puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce and coriander chutney.

  • 4 cups puffed rice
  • 2 cups sev
  • 1 onion, finnely hopped
  • 2 tomato, chopped
  • ½ cup raw mango (optional)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 medium sized boiled potato
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp coriander chutney
  • 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Bhel Puri:

  1. Put in to the serving bowl puffed rice, sev, chopped potato, tomato, onion and raw mango.
  2. Add turmeric, roasted cumin, salt and pepper to tastet. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Top with chutneys. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
