Shrimp Kabab

This is a great dish, especialy for a summer meal. The marinade gives the chicken an appetizing flavor and helps to keep it succulent and moist during grilling or baking.

Ingredients:

  1. Grind ginger, garlic and chilies to a paste.
  2. To the paste add yoghurt, sour cream, cumin powder, lemon juice, oil, salt, tandoori masala and turmeric.
  3. Marinate paneer, capsicum and onion pieces in it for at least 2 hours.
  4. Arrange

on greased skewers with the capsicums pieces and onions. 1. Preheat a grill or oven. Place the skewers on a grill or wire rack brushed with some oil. Grill for 15 minutes turning once in between. 1. Cook till paneer pieces start getting crisp from the sides. 1. Serve hot sprinkled with some lemon juice or chat masala on a bed of either plain boiled rice or Pulao Rice accompanied with cooling Mint Raita.

Tip:

  • Wide flat bamboo skewers help keep food items in place while grilling, no spinning as with traditional skewers. Soak them in the water before using it.
