Tea with Cloves

Enjoy this simple, aroma-filled beverage and improve your digestion, boost your immune system and relieve chest congestion. Cloves contain vitamin E and vitamin K which can help in fighting bacterial infection. You can make tea with cloves more interesting by adding few other spices like cinnamom, cardamom and lemon.

Ingredients:

Serves 2

  • 2½ cups water
  • 1-2 tsp tea leaves (depends on your preference)
  • ½ cinnamon stick (optional)
  • 10 cloves
  • sugar, hoenyto serve (optional)

How to Make Tea with Cloves:

  1. Pour the water into a pan, add cloves (you can grind them if you want a stronger flavor) and cinnamon (optional) and bring to a boil. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add tea leaves and let it steep for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Then strain into cups and serve, sweetened with sugar or honey.
